What to do After an Accident
If you are involved in any type of accident, it may seem obvious, but your first and most important step is to ensure proper medical attention.
To the extent possible, take photographs of the accident scene or causes of the accident which will be beneficial during litigation. Take notice if there are any witnesses to the accident and if so, be sure to record their names and phone numbers if possible. You should also ensure that the police are contacted to prepare a report to document the accident and identify those involved.

After first responders arrive and immediate medical treatment has been given, you must secure legal representation, as the law limits the amount of time that you have to commence litigation.
